Shakeology Cleanse

The Shakeology 3 Day Cleanse is a shortened version of the full program.  The various benefits of this product on the body have been tried and tested by a considerable number of people from different parts of the world.  The program suits anyone who is hoping to look and feel great.

Before deciding that the three-day cleanse right for you, it may be necessary to read some of the reviews.  It will also help to understand why we need to cleanse, and the steps to do it properly.

Where Do We Get Toxins From?

Our body is exposed to toxins almost every day.  Convenience foods that are high in calories but lacking in nutrients are highly available and seem to perfectly fit into our busy lifestyles.  But without enough physical activity, these calories will not be burned.  They will instead be stored in the body as fat.  The chemicals emitted by motor vehicles, factories, and pesticides also add to the level of toxins we get.  Also, prescription drugs contain certain amounts of toxins that can adversely affect the body with long-term use.

How Does the 3 Day Shakeology Cleanse Work?

Shakeology is a detox process that involves the regular consumption of this nutritionally dense meal replacement drink.  It adheres to the principle that the body needs amino acids, vitamins, and minerals to function well.  The shake is packed with all essential nutrients to enable the body to progressively eliminate toxins.  It also aids in digestion, and in the transport of beneficial substances to the different organs.  Further, it’s full of different antioxidants and phytonutrients that fight against free radical damage which can give rise to chronic diseases.

How To Do the 3 Day Shakeology Cleanse

During the cleanse, you will need to replace breakfast and lunch with the Shakeology meal replacement drink.  You have the option to have fruits for snack.  It is also a must that you keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water.  Water helps flush out toxins from the body.  If you are engaged in a heavy workout routine, the fruits will give you your extra energy requirement.  But if you only do light exercises, opting out of the fruit option will give you better results.  For dinner, you can have vegetable salad and about a few ounces of fish or poultry.  Avoid dairy, sugar, and sodium.  This should be your daily meal plan for three consecutive days.  Repeat the program every three months.
